PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS |
|
The quality of a portrait always depends greatly on the quality of the photgraphs people give me to work from. Beccause of that, here are some tips to help you along in taking the most suitable photographs. 1. Lighting: Daylight is best, although you should avoid direct sunlight because the shadows can become too dark and the colors can be affected. 2. Positioning: Make certain the photographer is at eye level with the subject. A photo taken from above or below gives a distorted image. 3. Composition: For a portrait pose, it is best if the subject turns their head a little and does not face the camera straight on. (Of course, the eyes can still look at the camera.) 4. Sharpness: To allow me to "zoom in' on the photo, it has to be of adequate quality (sharpness/resolution). Preferred size is 960 x 12800 pixels minimunm. |
